YingZhu Su
BORN IN 1982- Collaborating Artist
“I don’t paint peacocks or koi — I paint the spirit of light flowing through them.”
YingZhu Su (b. 1982, Suzhou, China) is a contemporary Chinese artist celebrated for her fusion of realism and oriental symbolism. Her paintings depict peacocks, koi fish, and lotus ponds with exquisite detail and spiritual depth — each work radiating calmness, vitality, and inner light.
Trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and later at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Su blends the precision of academic realism with the lyricism of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Her signature style, often referred to as “Oriental Luminism,” combines light, water, and symbolism to evoke harmony between humanity and nature.
Her Peacock Series explores themes of grace, transformation, and renewal, while her Koi Series celebrates the rhythm of life and the serenity of movement. Lin Yuan’s art invites viewers into a meditative world — where every brushstroke breathes.
