Moving beyond the flatness of traditional canvas, Miya redefines botanical art through the lens of Contemporary Bas-Relief. Her practice involves a rigorous physical process of layering heavy-body modeling paste with palette knives, effectively "sculpting" light and shadow onto the two-dimensional surface.

Characterized by a monochromatic white palette accented with delicate gold leaf, her work captures the ephemeral beauty of flowers and immortalizes them in permanent texture. Her minimalist compositions serve as a quiet counter-narrative to the digital noise of the modern world, emphasizing patience, touch, and the imperfect beauty of the handmade.
